Watched the game. My alma mater came up short but proud of them. Good effort. Congratulations to Hampton on a great shooting performance. Boys could shoot it. Keep working Humboldt!!! Seen some bright spots!!!

This year's incarnation of Humboldt isn't what they've been in the past, but gotta' give 'em props for making state in a "down" year. Not to take away from them, but Memphis was not what they usually are this year either...in a typical season, a team similar to the Vikings doesn't get out of region play, much less substate. To borrow a phrase from Tyrone Biggums on the football thread "just keeping it real".

Yes, I agree! Not taking nothing away from my Alumni, this team was very young and it showed especially at the point guard position just to many unforced TO’s and  taking bad shots! The young kids will learn from this & hopefully get stronger & learn from this. Hampton guards played a great game moved the ball around & found the open man, great team ball! The only weakest that I saw was that they are a right handed team &  rarely went to left but Humboldt staff didn’t notice it! Good luck Hamptom!!!!!
