Not anymore, lol. Oneida basketball has to play down I-75 now instead of down Route 27.

I’m well aware. We’ll still be more successful in basketball than football unfortunately. You gonna make the Scott opener this year?

I will be in the central time zone on that Friday. I am curious how they look tonight vs York though. Do you agree with my prediction for Region 2-AA? I feel like 3 and 4 can be flipped.

Our kiddos looked very good last week vs Notre Dame. We have plenty of speed and size to have a memorable season. Coach Stark and the coaching staff have done a magnificent job with these kiddos in the off season. When I say they are big and fast I mean they are big and fast. Everyone needs to be on notice for the Pickett to Pickett tandem this season. These are two great kiddos that deserve all the accolades they will be receiving this year. They are only juniors this year. I hate it that Brax won't be able to be out there since he graduated but Bray is still out there and taking no prisoners this year. He is a certified beast and I can not wait to watch him play. Tay is going to be a beast this season and he is only a junior too. I noticed Z last week playing too and he is only a freshmen. EJ and Sam are both as fast as a streak of lightning. When they get the lead on someone they will not be caught. This team has worked so hard and is ready to show everyone what Marion County football is about. Like Coach Stark said these kiddos can compete with anyone. They have been champions their entire lives and I believe they will be again this season. I am excited to say the least. It is a great day to be a warrior! Go Warriors!

Yes overall. YAI by a mile then I think Bledsoe/Polk/Oneida could go in any combination but I would think Bledsoe is a slight favorite for 2nd and Oneida might be just ahead of Polk for 3rd but any combination of those 3 would not surprise me. Tellico might edge out wartburg for 5th. Honestly it’s a big drop off this year after YAI I believe unless Bledsoe is a sleeper.

Agree 100%. I also think what will be new this year is the teams from Region 1 that make the playoffs as the 3rd and 4th seeds will be much better than in years past. So finishing 2nd in Region 2, you may get a home 1st round game but the opponent could be the huge favorite. I think by November, Region 1 will be much deeper than Region 2.

Well if region 1 has 2 or more quality teams they’ll be deeper than region 2. YAI isn’t a contender I don’t think but this is a very week region 2 this year. Quad 2 will have multiple teams eliminated by round 3 that might be better than the best quad 1 has to offer unless Hampton turns up like some believe they can or if eagleton is more than I think they are. Eagleton will be a player, just don’t think it will be this year or next but I could be wrong.

Just left York/Scott Co scrimmage while they still played and hopefully corrected by another watcher but varsity  York scored 4 and should’ve been 5 but Scott co recovered a fumble while York was trying to get into end zone which made their lone score.

No major injuries and York should win their region. Still curious to see how Oneida improved and don’t know really what Bledsoe lost. Wartburg, Polk and tellico I expect to fight for 4th
