I’ll take the bonafide Stars thread.  Thinking this game could go either way.  Both teams with lots of “new” starters.  This game is pure bragging rights as it doesn’t matter for region, so it comes down to who wants it more and who makes their breaks.  Knoxville teams have not found much success on the road with Maryville, so they will be fighting hard to hold the home field.  We will just show up and see where it goes.  Maybe I’ll see you there Stars,  not sure we have ever met up at one of these affairs.  Win, lose or draw - keep everybody healthy and move on to region play.

Man, i aint never heard so much negativity!. 4-6, 5-5...long year...lol. IMO murvil does not have that bad of talent on the field. Definitely alot of Richie Cunninghams and not many college prospects, but they have some pretty good athletes on the team - just like always. I am confident our score of coaches will find some things this group can do well and make the necessary adjustments on both offense and defense. The next three games could tell more than these first three have, and that is saying something! 

Yep, I'm taking the rebels.

I would give anything to be wrong on this game but West will have the upper hand on this one I'm afraid.This has been a very unfair season of injuries for this group that has worked very hard this year. Last Friday one player was the difference. Had he been on our side we would have won. I hope UT doesn't waste his skills at defensive back and puts him on offense where he belongs.

New stadium rule this year: No loud comments from the stands about the three man defensive line. This behavior will not be tolerated and each row will be assigned a monitor to take down names of these crude violators and handed to the administration for proper disciplinary actions. 

No live animals also means don't bring your dead ones also.

No boom boxes will be up to futher discussion since a nine year old girl ask school officials what a Boom Box was.

LOL! Jut pay your money and hush! If I had a dollar for every time I have heard that as a fan!!

It will be interesting to see how this team responds this week. My glass is half full.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
