2 years ago Trenton Peabody dumped Dyersburg (non region game) to make up a Covid cancellation with Lake Co (region game). The game was supposed to be at home for Dyersburg. Trenton let the game be at Dburg the next year so they could make up the lost revenue.

Since you believe anything you hear, I thought I'd get the actual TSSAA contract.  Here it is below.  

 

TENNESSEE SECONDARY SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION  Official Contract for Athletic Contests   This CONTRACT is made and subscribed by the Principals of the  High School and of the  High School for    Sport contests in  to be played as follows:   City Date Day Hour

Game No. 1    

Game No. 2    

1. The rules of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association are a part of this contract. 2. Only officials registered with TSSAA shall be used if the game is played in Tennessee.  Names of the officials shall be submitted to the visiting school for approval at least five days before the date of the contest.  

 

The home team shall be the judge of weather conditions.  In case of rain, the game will be played on:  
 

 

3. The school failing to carry out the provisions of this contract shall pay the other a forfeit of $  dollars, unless this contract is altered or cancelled by mutual agreement of the contracting schools or by the TSSAA Board of Control. 4. This contract shall be automatically cancelled if either school is suspended from membership in TSSAA, or if either school proposes to use a player declared ineligible by TSSAA but for whom an individual or group of individuals has instituted litigation seeking to have the courts set aside the ruling of the association.  Otherwise, this contract cannot be cancelled except by mutual agreement or by authority of the TSSAA Board of Control.

Don't think the dates match up, but Corbin, KY needs at least one game.  Ranked No. 2 in Kentucky 4A with a couple of kids going to Michigan.  Corbin needs to schedule a home-and-home with some teams like Greeneville or Elizabethton instead of playing a few terrible local teams or only playing good East Tennessee teams in their bowl game.

After the screw job the officials did against Alcoa when they played Corbin a couple of years ago, I doubt any team wants to go to Corbin and play.....
