You didn't ask me but based on what I saw ER definitely has a shot. But it will require a makeover on offense. ER has the best 2 players on the field, but after that Smith Co. has the better 3-10+ and the size and attitude to go with it. 

They have a team coming up this week that would walk to the 2a state championship. Let's see how they do against them.

I don't either.

And I think Smith County wouldn't either.  They'd have to hope for a slugfest type game.  Defensive battle so to speak.

At Marion we are just hoping to make the playoffs. If we're fortunate enough to get to the 3rd round we will see how it shakes out.

If the stats are right which it looks right. 4 turnovers 125 yards penalties and still had chance to win the game. Smith very dominant on D though.

One could argue that the game was close because SC couldn't execute in the red zone in the first half.

You’re right. Just saying both teams have a lot improvement. What else is funny minus last year ER would be stoked to be in the position they are in now. A lot young kids on that team. ER penalties and 4 turnovers. Smith county couldn’t do anything in the red zone.

Would love to see a rematch in The Hole in November. Both teams have a great opportunity to make it to Chatt.
