I really didn't think Davis could take that much pounding without Ory coming in to spell him here and there tonight but the line really opened some big holes for him. That was why I gave Alcoa the edge but glad things worked out. Both teams played hard and it turned out to be a good game.

Five turnovers and a zillion penalty yards on Alcoa,  It’s a miracle they only lost by three points. Very poor effort and lack of discipline by theTornadoes, Great win by Maryville when very few thought they had a chance.

What a game. That’s what this rivalry should be. Incredible team effort tonight. Defense made big plays all night, and the offensive line pushed Alcoa around most of the night. Just a great win to keep the momentum going.

Fact. Terrible performance. 

Just like UT and Florida, Alcoa falls apart at home against Maryville.
