You have to give Eagleton AD some credit for making the schedule so easy for them this year. They are going to have 4 wins in their inaugural season. If they get some transfers in and against this same schedule next year they could easily get up to 6 or 7 wins. They played the worst team in 3A and some of the worst in 2A and 1A. Atleast he was smart about it.

Bet it won't be so easy to pad the schedule the next go around. 6 or 7 wins is not out of the question next season. All depends on how many they add or even lose.

Right now their in 2A because they guessed at what the numbers would be which they don't even have right now. Eagleton is a brand new program in a 70 year old building but has a turf field because there is no other place to go for all the other uses it has. If this were a grass field everyone would be on here complaining about the field looking like a garden. A lot of those kids haven't ever played football before until this year from what one parent told me. It's a learning curve for them right now. You don't break in kids that have never played before by throwing them in the Lions den as you would like to see. This will take a couple years to get this to a competitive level what ever class they end up in but my guess they'll never be higher than where their at.

In a pregame interview with our media guys a representative of eagleton said they planned to stay at 410-415 max enrollment if I recall correctly.
