5A Playoff Predictions

Brackets are out. What’s everyone thinking? gotta believe it’s West/Powell/Oak Ridge VS Henry County/Beech/Page/Centennial in some combination in the championship.

Sevier County > Knox Central
Powell > Tenn High
Halls > Mo West
West > Boone

R1 & R2 Round 2
Powell > Sevier County
West > Halls

R1 & R2 Round 3
Powell & West - could go either way

The way beech has looked wouldn’t be surprised with an early round loss. I know everyone says the Memphis schools are not good but could see beech having some trouble.

I’m guessing Powell will travel to Sevier County if they win. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Walker Valley can make it to the semi’s.

the way Beech has looked? you mean like winning 4 of their last 5, with that one loss being a 1pt OT loss to one of the top 2-3 favorites to win it all? a game that they probably should have won. Beech is probably the second or third favorite to make the championship from the west.

Beech will probably make it to round 3, then lose to Henry County in Paris.

They only have to knock off one, one of em gonna knock the other out. Not saying it’ll happen, but they don’t have to beat both. Honestly OR has the easiest path in the playoffs till the semifinals probably, where they would have to play either West or Powell.
