I would be very surprised if this happens. Gordonsville has a lot of pride within their program. I believe Pirates will win but it will be closer.

I’ve seen enough of South Pitt to know that when the QB is on you guys are gonna score on anybody. However, the games I have watched or seen some of this year I wasn’t overly that impressed with the passing game. Don’t shoot the messanger. I am just keeping it real. Accuracy looked to be an issue but maybe those were just bad games The QB is much improved running the ball though and that changes everything. Adding a couple of young RBs certainly helps too. 

Most impressed with the improvements on defense if I am being honest. Very active up front and then the 2 linebackers and Wallace at Safety is impressive. I am just keeping it real.

If I was a betting man I would say the Champion will come from the West side. I believe the level of competition will have them more battle tested. I also believe a few of those teams will cause major issues up front for South Pitt. Of course it’s all about matchups. Time will tell. I am just keeping it real

In the QB’s last 4 games he’s around 80%…just keeping it real

Good assessment. I will say that he has really started clicking in the latter part of the season though. Timing has been perfect. He's thrown for over 300 yards with 6 TDs and only 3 incomplete passes in the playoffs. His last few regular season games were pretty much the same. It has allowed the offense to really step up.

      And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet,city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.

      Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
