Everyone that's been around knew this year and next year were going to be lean years. Dip in overall talent and kids that were good just not playing anymore.

Talent is going to pick back up. That's not to say a transfer or two wouldn't help, but the cupboard will be restocked soon.

Hypothetical: IF Boo’s family uses the BC benefits to move down on the lake in Blount County and his more talented lil brother wanted to attend Murvil….. (1) would 825 have room for him as a tuition student? (2) would lil brother only play on one side of the ball?

We must be over on capacity if the first answer is a no. That’s the most important question anyway. Maybe we are looking for Buyers With Studs (BWS) which might be a smaller group than TWS. How far over are we?

Gage getting hurt won't likely lead to more guys playing both sides.  Seems like we ran a few OL/DL out both ways, but I'm not sure who else could have done it this year.

You’re right. I hate that happened. I do believe he would’ve helped us on defense this year.

There have been a few exceptions,  but Oakland doesn't play hardly anybody both ways. They might play 10-15 snaps on the other side but they won't be starting. Only exception I can think of during Creasy's tenure was Jacoby Stevens. What has hurt Maryville the most the last few years is depth, especially on offense

MTF.....Eric Taylor played both ways agin us laist yeer and evun tha kick teems......Souper playur....Much tha way Brad Lee uses Boo......
