Yeah, I didnt think so, I saw the play and the player I thought it would be until they started talking about a Groves, not gonna mention a number but yeah...

I wasn’t sure but like you said they were talking about #2 and then he left the game. By the time the dust settled I wasn’t sure if he returned or not. Just a huge mess.

All the late hitting by York in the 1st half brought this all on, I said it would happen before the game, thus the Classless assumption. At some point you have to fight back.

We’ve played them for years, twice this year. I’m well aware of their style of play. Only difference is tonight they ran up on a team that was willing to go there with them and it snow balled.

East Robertson was the worst sports I've ever seen in all the DECADES I've watch. A East Robertson coach PUNCHED a York player. He is being charged with assault. They started 2 fights, kicked York players who were on the ground, and all night long they shoved York players after the play ended. York cost themselves the game by going for it on 4th down twice costing 2 touchdowns. But they came back from 35-7 to 35-31 and if they got the last on side kick, they would have won. Their coach encouraged his team to act like horrible. I would be ashamed if I was from ER. I hope the ER assistant coach goes to jail.

I thought the same thing. East kept their cool for most of the first half, but there’s only  so much you take. I know East has had issues with unsportsmanlike penalties before the playoffs but thought the did ok up until the second half tonight….

Most of it self inflicted… great great bunch of athletes, but their potential may not ever be reached due to their inability to play clean football.

Only reason they are going to chat is because they have better athletes than everyone they play. Coaches have no control over the team. One of the most talented and undisciplined teams I have ever saw. Next week they will get exposed.

What happened here?

It was bad from the very beginning. A lot of chippy stuff then a mini brawl broke out on the ER sideline. Cleared the field and warned both sides. Later another broke out and ER got one tossed and York had 2 thrown out. Apparently one of Yorks went after an official after the game and allegedly an ER assistant hit a York player and the mom is pressing charges. Basically just another Friday night in Jamestown :roflol:

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
