Safe travels to SP and McK fans traveling to the game today. Pray for no injuries and that good sportsmanship is displayed from both fans and student athletes alike. Remember officials are only human and they have no bias toward either team they are giving their best just as our student athletes are giving their best. Student athletes remember most importantly have fun today and enjoy the experience no matter of the outcome.

About to head that way.  Save travels to all.  Of course I am picking the Rebels in a close one.  We went through a gauntlet the last 3 weeks to get back.  No one gave us a shot vs MC or Dresden.  Or maybe even Cornersville.  3 Mr. Football Finalist. Regardless of the outcome, our 7 seniors have a 49-7 record in their 4 years.  That is an incredible run.  Comer is looking for win 210.  As always, I will either tip my hat and say well done to our friends at SP.  Or, watch our guys raise that gold ball.  Go Rebels!  Go get it!

Safe travels and GO Pirates

Instant replay needs to be implemented at all state games.

A Big Red Wave is coming across the plateau and heading for the Chattanooga valley.  It has taken out 3 Mr. Football candidates thus far and is squarely headed for 2 more.  Can the Pirates of South Pittsburgh navigate the storm or will they be tossed overboard?  Comer has his sights set on a 2nd Gold Ball and its my hope the perfect storm continues its wrath at Finley.  Go Rebels!!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
