Not the first time he has blamed refs for a state tournament loss. Taking nothing away from his coaching and his teams, both legendary - but full court man/trap/run-n-jump/etc style and you are playing a zone team - well it is not rocket science to figure out the discrepancy. Saying all that, that style is what got MC most of those 1000+ wins so there is that.
They've got a dang fine coach already there if both parties agree...just my opinion of course. Sometimes folks just don't try hard enough to be a winner, and every once in a while, they try too hard and overthink something obvious.
