2024 1A Season

Who's gonna get better, Who's gonna get worse, and Who's gonna pick up where they left off?

What little I know I would expect in the west for Moore County and Dresden to take a step back.  Lake County will be better.  Union City and McKenzie could be the favorites in the west.   I think the west will be down a little in 1A next season.

South Pittsburg loses its quarterback, 7 receivers, tight end, a couple of linemen, 3 DBs 2 linebackers, a couple of D linemen and the punter. Still, if we can figure out the QB spot, we may have a shot to be back at Finley.

Unless Rockwood can get alot better no one from Region 1 or 2 will compete with SP.Gordy will be your toughest playoff game.I cannot see any other team for the next 2 years making Finley but you all.Enjoy this ride.

Don't matter who SP has to replace, they are the front runners to come out of the East. Thats just the way it is.

1. Union City

4. South Fulton

5. Greenfield 

6. Gleason

7. Halls

8. Humboldt

Gordonsville should be better. Lost a huge senior class from the 2022 squad so this year had a lot of new faces. New kids got some experience playing meaningful snaps this year. Only losing 8 seniors I believe and gaining a good group of 8th graders

McKenzie Vs SP for rematch. 
 

Don’t forget about OS. OS is youthful. Gordy is also always a contender in East as well. Don’t know a lot about what west teams have returning.

I like this format it would be cool to see it laid out with every region.

Yes, the G-men and the folks from OZ will have a lot to say about the March to Chattanooga again next year. I'm not sure what Coalfield has coming back, but I expect them to be in the mix.
