The most important question is who would want this job? Duncan beached the battleship on his way out and made it look like this was a premier job. Typical ego Clark leaving it at a time where the successor was guaranteed to struggle.

This school can be good if it has the right coach. Knox County will go out of it's way to make sure and hire someone that's a travelling man and be gone in two years.

The guy was trying to clean up the program. Smoking problem there. When West beat them in the semifinals some SD players got high before the game overconfident but that was before him. He tried to change the culture

Clark did a good job of bringing kids in from surrounding Knox schools and keeping his own. Once he left all the handlers started looking elsewhere.

He did a phenomenal job of keeping the talent at home. That's always been an issue at SD.
