Tell me how Memphis basketball gets around these type of rules?  If I was her parents and they were denying her an opportunity to play her senior year I’d sue TSSAA so fast their heads would spin.

Nobody turns them in obviously. TSSAA aren't going to do nothing unless they have to. Sounds like there is a part that hasn't been told on this deal. I would bet the family is not completely out of the house. Either a family member is there or furniture.

So is she playing this year or is she out. Reading conflicting messages just want to see what’s happened.

That makes no sense.

I think the powers that be at White County just don’t want to deal with the kind of smoke that comes with this transfer. LA basically threatening to blow up any schools season if they put her on their team.  Thus putting every child on the team in jeopardy of losing a season. If and I say “IF” this is true then maybe some people have their priorities in life mixed up.

Still hard to understand that LA is threatening to blow up a season. Hard to believe they think they have more power than the TSSAA.

From what I am hearing this has nothing to do with LA.  And more to do with an address issue.   Also I don’t think a school can keep the player from playing if the player meets the TSSAA requirements of a bonafide address change.  They can push issues and advise TSSAA of non compliance but they have no say in the rulings.  Unless they can somehow get a ruling that the player has a coaching link,  a legal move will make the player eligible.  A paper only move or a partial move will result in player being ineligible.  Those rulings and appeals are usually slow from TSSAA.   But at this point there are 47 rumors so the truth is out there somewhere.  But the sad thing is that the athlete was forced into this situation by actions of grown adults that aren’t coaches.

Little bit harder than just going and renting an Apartment and still not cutting ties with House A. I would imagine that House A still is the problem with the TSSAA if she is ruled ineligible. I am like you. TSSAA is not going to listen to a mad coach or administration if the parents have met TSSAA moving protocol.
