What team in 1A is looking the best?

I was just wondering who everybody thinks is the best team so far in 1A.

From the West side, it looks as if DCA looks to be the strongest at the moment.

 

The east side is real competitive this year, although I am thinking it will be a coin toss between South Pitt and Boyd Buchanan.

From the Northeast, Cloudland is looking real good too. We are 5 - 0 and going strong!

Hampton, Sullivan East, Rye COve (Va), North Greene, and Cherokee. We have 5 more to go.

cloudland has finally acknowledged the fact that to be successful all the way to a state title, one has to be two demensional. They are passing the ball very accurately. Unlike lander teams in the past where they lived and died with the run. Their passing ability and passing defense improvements is why I predict cloudland will finally get past the private schools and win gold...Only two teams stand in their way. Boyd which will beat South pitt. And CPA who is still to play their best ball. The key to cloudland is to stay focused and healthy.....

Cloudland is also the best team that I have seen. Mark Byrd is easily the best player I have seen. I can't wait till the playoffs to see who the best team really is.

I've noticed one thing about Cloudland. Whenever a team beats them that team becomes the best in the state. They have sort of a hero worship of them after that. It was that way with Ezell. For a while they said Ezell couldn't be beaten. Now it's Boyd. How do you know Boyd will beat SP. Just because Boyd whooped yall all over the field last year and whooped SP too don't mean they will beat SP this year. These are whole different teams. We'll see if you are still telling the future come Saturday morning. Either way Cloudland won't be in Murfreesboro unless they just go to watch the game.

O'ye have little faith - Cloudland has a determined bunch of seniors that want to make it back to state, a great coach and fan support - I'm betting they will make it.

KRP, I do think South Pitt has gained a little ground on Boyd, I doubt it is enough. I look for a low scoring affair, my guess is Boyd 28 ,South Pitt 7. Look for old Pujo in the croud, good chance we will see one of you ,and trust me,we will be ready for either one. Its going to take a heck of a team to beat Cloudland in Roan Mt. Its a game of inches and we have gained several feet. Much better team this season. Our line has really improved .Away to slow last season.
