My research indicates that MBA posted a 10-11 playoff record prior to the formation of Division II and they were 5-9 prior to 1995.  Zero state title game appearances.

Here's the games I have:

1971-lost to covington

1979-beat maplewood

-lost to gallatin

1985-beat mcgavok

-lost togallatin

1986-beat stratford

-lost to gallatin

1987-lost to stratford

1990-beat glencliff

-beat gallatin

-lost to germantown

1991-beat maplewood

-lost to gallatin

1992-lost to stratford

1994-beat franklin

-lost to jcm

1995-beat lincoln co

-beat jcm

-beat henry co

-lost to ba

1996-beat mcgavok

-beat millington

-lost to ba

That comes to 12-9 against current DI teams.

i agree..but best team, id have to say - mowest...i think we lost state because boro had the experience, and our offense wasnt as a good as we'd hoped, but we did beat the 3-time defending state champs...Name me one team today that has done that ..

Morristown West should be given credit for their landmark win over Maryville, but it's obvious Hillsboro proved their 4A superiority quite effectively by dominating the state title game. It's hard to argue the results of a head-to-head matchup. Hopefully the Trojans will be back next year.

Why do people feel the need to bring up the fact that MBA gives need-based scholarships? Does that have anything at all to do with football?

"Does that have anything to do with football?" What a question!!!

No one has answered a question I posed earlier. How many MBA and/or BA starters are receiving "scholarships" (your word)? You don't even have to name them...just tell how many.
