unbiasedspectator
How many times do I have to explain to you why Wooden's stats aren't as impressive as Peardon's. Peardon has played in every game this year and has had a good amount of carries. Wooden tore his ACL in the summer, missed 3 games during the season, got carries in the single digits in a couple of games(and still got over 100 yards in those games), and is playing in a Region Far Superior to Boyd's. Hiker
like i said: Beat that dead horse all you want, Mr. Football went to the right man. 825460663[/snapback] Mr. Football did go to the right player. This award is for the entire season and not for who is playing better at the end of the season. After watching Wooden last week against USJ, it is hard to imagine anyone playing better than he did in that game. But I have not seen Peardon so I can't really say Wooden is better. But make no mistake, he is very very good.

unbiasedspectator
Maybe superior to DCA's but CPA played Riverdale and Goodpasture and a team from NC that had won many state titles and had Carl Pickens on their team.
Ryano44
I can't wait to see this game Friday at the Boro. Our coaches decided to get us a bus and take us (Coalfield) down to watch the game, it should be a good experience for our whole team. But, I dont think its fair to say that Wooden is probably a better back based on what region he is in. Of couse being in that region, he is going to have better competitoin and more then likely, better defenses to run against. But you have to remember, this is high school football. Anything can happen on any given friday night. Meaning that, some of the worst teams could upset and very good team any night. So, just because their in a better region doesnt mean a thing, the defenses could of been playing horrible on that certain night or vice versa with Boyd's region where the teams could be playing awesome a any night. So, i'm not trying to say your wrong in any way, that is just my way of seeing it. Good luck to both teams and may the better team Boyd - 35 DCA - 17 GO BUCS!!! justin groves 03
Make no mistake about Wooden. He's great. Peardon is deserving, look at his stats. Wooden is just now geeting in mid-season form. His knee injury may have been a blessing in disguise as it enabled him to rest and not be getting tired as the season comes to a close. Haven't seen Boyd, but Wooden is almost unstoppable when healthy. Good luck to both, but I hope the Middle TN team brings it home.
bulldogpride75
Boyd will win this game. This will be the closest out of all of them though.
