Just glad to see that Franklin got back from Germantown safely.  Good thing you all had police escorts, your two team buses passed us on the way to Memphis like we were sitting still and we were doing 70-75 mph.

FHSRebel27- I wasn't on CoachT in 2002 when my Bruins took it to state. Were the picks this high against them then? Brentwood won that game with heart, and that's what it would take for Franklin to get the upset. Riverdale has amazing athletes, like always, so if Franklin can through some new stuff at them, we might have a game, if not, this will get ugly fast.

Are you kidding? brentwood was SUCH an underdog on here. In fact it was much worse than what is being said about Franklin! Everyone is an underdog to Riverdale in the Big Show.

Just a side question from a hopeful Cookeville fan-

If Riverdale demolishes Franklin (if?) by several touchdowns and Franklin doesn't score- then is there any way possible that Cookeville could end up 3rd in the state in the final polls?

I'll respond to a couple things...

 

~I can't remember if Brentwood was THIS much of an underdog. I do know they were outnumbered on here by at least 10-1 and most of the people sticking up for the Bruins were other Williamson County guys simple because Brentwood didn't have many people on here.

 

~LCstatman is exactly right. If they Rebels need any more motivation or what have you, they should simply look to their head coach. You know it's on his mind or he wouldn't have mentioned it in the paper after the Germantown game.

 

~Yes, do stay off of Hwy. 96 on Saturday... there will also be a crazy kid from Monroe, Louisiana on it scrambling to see his Rebels.
