Sorry Irishdad, it will be close,  but it says here MBA 33-Ryan 27

        winner    points

103 ----MBA        3

112-----MBA        6

119-----FR            6

125-----MBA        6

130-----FR            6      (Oddo  for FR)

135-----MBA        3

140-----FR            3        ( Morales/Hall)

145-----MBA        3

152-----MBA        6        ( Shillingslaw for MBA)

160-----FR            6        ( your personal favorite for FR)

171-----FR            3

189-----MBA        3

215-----MBA        3

275-----FR            3

A switch in a decision at 215 from MBA to Ryan would give you a 30-30 tie with MBA winning on pins, 3-2

A "surprise" pin by either team could really mess things up for the other.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT I KNOW YOU HAVE A FEW WRONG MAYBE ON BOTH SIDES... I DO NOT PREDICT OUTCOMES I FEEL IT JINXS THE TEAM. SO I WILL WISH THEM BOTH LUCK. I WILL AGREE THAT A SUPIRSE PIN COULD WIN IT

Word is that Matt Bubis is going to wrestle heavywieght  thumb for MBA in this match.

If Bubis is at heavy, then I would revise my earlier prediction to favor MBA by a score of 36-24. Sorry, Irishdad, but this takes away the tie if 215 goes to FR and lessens the impact of a surprise pin. The purple haze is fading into a big red sky.

is there any truth to the word that bubis is wrestling because i heard he was out for the season.

It was my understanding from Matt and his Coach that a concussion would keep him out for the rest of the season. But I am the Irishdad maybe a MBA dad could clear this up.

I don't see anyone being able to call this match.  It depends too much on the guys that haven't been the studs this year.  Wirth emotions of pride running as high as they do for this type of rivalry, it is a big chance for those uncreditted ones to shine.

It looks as if the key matches are coming at 103, 135, 140, 171, and heavy, if Ryan doesn't change their lineup around. Any upsets or surprise pins at those weights could heavily influence the match and morale of either team. Should be an incredible match, but too close to call at this point. I'll most certainly be there.

    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
