Private vs Publics in Football Finals

I'll bring it up...For ANYONE to say the playing field is equal take a look at this...

 

A Championship - Greenback(Public) vs NCS(Private) - 54 Public Schools and 7 Private in Classification

AAA Championship - Alcoa(Public) vs CPA(Private) - 51 Public Schools and 5 Private in Classification

AAAA Championship - Pearl Cohn(Public) vs Knox Catholic(Private) - 51 Public Schools and 2 Private in Classification

 

I may be off a couple, but I think it is pretty accurate.

Not the time or place for that now. Where they play is determined for the next year at least, and this time should be for the kids in the playoffs, and the fans of those kids to discuss games...not "politics". Congrat's to all the Blue Cross Bowl qualifiers...great job, and enjoy the ride!

Thanks for posting this was wondering same thing. It's a fine time for the debate unless your a private.

The publics and the privates both have to put in blood, sweat and hard work to be successful. This isn't the kids' fault. If your program wants to beat them put in the work and do it!!

NCS has an enrollment of 345.6 after the multiplier so 192 actual enrollment. They have 3 players with at least 1 major SEC offers and 2 of the 3 with multiple D1 offers. Several others with multiple OHV type offers. Yes that takes work but you have to have a level of raw ability to do that. What's the odds of getting that hind of talent out of 192 random kids?

See Marion Co, SouthPitt, Alcoa,Tyner, Union city as your paradigm of hope. Being a private school doesn't mean good football. See grace Chattanooga and Silverdale as your examples.
