  2. Would be right if Brooks ever called a single play. His OC calls the plays, unlike ur boy pond.
  3. Most definitely will not be Waggoner. He just accepted a job in Florida that he has had his eyes on for years.
  4. Think he would be better suited to save our baseball program. We struggle to win 5 games a year but noone wants to talk about that. Could even coach from the fence across the creek should he continue in his extra curricular activities.
  5. He probably works at the high school.
  6. I'm going to say 1) Coalfield 2) Oz 3) Rockwood 4) Greenback
  7. Mancoverage sez: This thread has been an absolute delight! Absolutely marvelous! Such eloquent and rosy prose, contained here in, is so seldom found amongst the more jocular subset of our species. The brilliant author behind such poetic use of an obviously deep and broad vernacular, reminds me of the other-worldly talents of Oscar Wilde. I humbly thank you, kind sir, for so generously sharing your elegantly loquacious gifts. The Goat sez: You better watch your back, Lord Byron, I’m sure poetry isn’t the only talent and passion that the author shares with Oscar Wilde.

  10. Cleveland has a good booster club, I would assume. Don’t believe Red Bank even has one, but at BC, it’s a mix of coaches and players on the team.
  11. A coach has been selected. She met with the team about 2 weeks ago, but am unsure why something official hasn’t been released yet. Could be waiting for spring sports to end.
  12. Well, since ol' ST is too busy to keep up with the coaching carousel this year, who is still without a coach at this point?
  13. I wouldn’t blame him a bit for finding another team.
  14. And that will be a tough place to conquer.
  15. Indeed, my preferences regarding the ideal candidate for the coaching position remain undisclosed, hence the impetus behind my inquiry. I extend my gratitude for your continued engagement, despite the absence of a direct response to your initial query.
  16. Sounds to me like you know who I prefer lol although I do prefer that candidate because of our friendship, I would be perfectly fine with a couple other of the names that have been mentioned.
  17. It's offering instruction to no more than six. He can still be (and should imho) supervising an open field practice (which these are). See that section.
  18. No way?!! What an embarrassment as a coach. Why even look on here and then have your wife call. Lt. Flip Flops is a bigger joke than I thought.
  19. I think everybody on here knows that "blue collar" kids are tougher and you need to have some of that hard working get what you earn mentality on your team. The soft handed rich entitled kids do not make the best football players. Anybody that argues that just wants to play the offended card or just wants to argue.
  20. How do you know he was giving "individual instruction" unless you were there and saw it yourself. Who's to say he didn't just toss them a football and watch them go at it? Exactly, we don't know.

  22. Remember when 92 got a call from the coaches wife telling him to stop criticizing ole Flip Flops? Said it was hurting his feelings. Can't make this stuff up. What a circus. That may have been it for 92, probably the last loyal fan left.
