arsenalisgarbage
stay n skool I dont have time to respond right now it would be lengthy but what im getting from a lot of people on this forum, just saying we are going to win the group is nonsense. yes we have a chance to advance, a decent chance, but some of you act like we are the favorites. We have holes all over the field, its ridiculous. we dont have the passion we had in 02 either, thats just my opinion. the morocco game was crap, we are not deep whatsoever. I like Germany tommorrow by3 goals, and i like ecuador 2-

'We don't have the passion like 02'...the US and the African teams probably have the most passion than anyone out there. The European and South American players are the ones w/o passion(France, Spain, ITALY, Argentina, Portugal...) Those guys don't really care about the WC, its just another game to them, and if they lose, they might get booed for a week and then people will forget about it and they will go back to their high-profile teams with their huge contracts and movie-star wifes... My point is that this is the only time the US has the only chance to show themselves and prove themselves...this chance alone will make them play with more passion than anyone.. blur25
Wow, the US really brought their "A" game for this one. What a disgusting game by the Americans, they didn't even look like they cared that they were losing. At least I got to see some great football by the Czechs. OnlineLC
Wow, the US really brought their "A" game for this one. What a disgusting game by the Americans, they didn't even look like they cared that they were losing. At least I got to see some great football by the Czechs. Beasley was absolutely useless. McBride and Donovan about as potent as an attack squirrel. What burned me what the way Arena just sat back totally resigned to the result even when it was 2-0. Thta is no doubt a great motivation to the team. I thought Reyna was the only one who played with any kind of passion. The Czechs dominated the midfield and challenged for every ball. They were many many times superior to the US team.
arsenalisgarbage
Hate to say "I told you so" but I think its necessary here after all the crap I took for saying that the U.S. has lacked passion as of late, lacked quality and just plain is not playing well. All of the statements I made were proven today and I was very dissapointed in the play of the U.S. A horrid performance, probably the worst I have seen them play since they lost to Iran at France 98' Rosicky and Nedved are just too good and who knows how many more goals Czech would have gotten if Koller didnt tear his hamstring. Beasley, Convey useless. Defense was unorganized, the entire team was just SLOW all over the field. I dont think the Czechs even went 100% they coasted through this game, very dissapointing, not the result, the effort, an absolute embarrassment. You guys did not see this coming, I did, the passion is not there, apparently Beasley and Donovan think they are superstars or something. Lewis couldnt cross a ball correctly if his life depended on it, I mean I see children who can cross balls in better than Lewis did today. Ok im done venting. Solomon
I know very little about soccer and has to listen to it on XM, but it even sounded embarassing. I got to admit that I was expecting more fro mthem today. 0-1-0 with a -3 goal differential? They better shape up and shape up fast. It's going to take an attitude check and a Ghana upset now for them to have a shot to make round 2.
