Yes, they are to scrimmage at Carson-Newman on August 14th or 15th.

Yes they do.They are scheduled to scrimmage Knox. Halls Aug.3 6;00 pm at home -Knox. Central Aug. 10 away @ 6;00pm and Maryville Aug. 14/15 @ Carson-Newman.

Also another note is a number of players will be going to a receiving and quarter backing camp in SC, from what I hear there is going to be a alot of talent there so it will be good to measure up early and see how we look in the aspect before a scrimmage.

Are any DB fans going to stick around after the WB game and watch the Main Event on Friday night? Might as well stick around and watch Maryville @ Alcoa.

No rumor. '07 and '08 still 4A. 2009 will be 5A.

If David Crockett stays above the 4A population level, will they have to play in the Region 1 5A in 2009?

I would think that Crockett would certainly stay in Region 1 5A and not travel to Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Ootlewah every other week.

 

No disrespect to Crockett, but moving to 5A in football would be a nightmare for them.

I think Crockett's move would be counterproductive for all teams in Region 1 5A.

I agree . . . Maybe it is time for a new class in the state of Tennessee (6 A)??
