NedNatterjack
QUOTE(pseudophobia @ Mar 30 2007 - 10:15 PM) 826426960I wanted to add something that I forgot completely. The referee for the game between Bearden and Houston was absolutely outstanding!!! He had complete control of the game and was right where he should be! If anyone knows his name please post it!! Also, where would you send in favorable, as well as "not so favorable", replys about refs!! There seems to be a lot of discussion about the lack of quality in referee's. This one happened to be exceptional, and someone needs to know about it. This would be a great ref to see in the State Championship's!!! Any info would be appreciated!! The center ref was Chip Fuller.
ihavenofriendzz
QUOTE(CREE @ Mar 30 2007 - 10:48 PM) 826426934Shot count was 10-3. We only count shots "on goal!!". McMinn did have several good looks at goal. Ok. What was the total shot count? not just on goal? btw what actually counts as "on goal". BigG
Am I the only one that finds these outcomes odd?
wiredtowin
Odd? How's this--Farragut may not be as good as thought/but TBD, this is early season and team didn't practice over break. They'll be bringing their A game come tournament time. McMinn County MO to play bunker ball when coach thinks they are out-manned/thus they will play more talented teams close, ie Farragut 0-0, Catholic 1-1. Against a team like Maryville that talent is perceived to be equal, straight up play leads to surprises such as the 6-0 loss to Maryville. Maryville not as bad as they appeared in losing to MoWest 1-0 and not as good as 6 goals better than Mcminn....somewhere in between like the 2-2 tie with ND. Knox West appears to be better than lots of folks thought. Bottom line is that there appears to be some pretty good parity--if you don't bring your game prepare to get punked. I think playing such tough games in consecutive days, you are going to get some odd outcomes. BigG, what were the outcomes that you expected? Just curious.
