Sorry I'm so blunt but these kids were busting their tails on the field all night and I think the fans could've been much louder.

Agreed for both sides of the field....... We cheer for the good stuff but maybe if we cheered loud and proud for the entire game the boys wouldn't have to way thier arms at the crowds... Just a thought....

How? Was G'ville just off track? Play calling? Was there anything G'ville did wrong? Or was SC just that good in this one?

I mean SC was supposed to have lost some talent from last years team that went so far in the playoffs...

Mainly, it was because SC was that good.

There were things Gville could've done better but it wouldn't have changed the outcome.

I agree, dissapointed, but was going to say nothing though.

Sorry, My mouth is bigger than my brain. It just really bothered me to see that. Believe me, there were some people cheering tonight but there could've been alot more. Oh well, I'll shut up, I'm not going to put a downer on a great night. I'm really impressed with the speed of our defense. People flying to the ball and popping people when they got there! AWESOME!

SC was just that good. Gordonsville really didn't have a chance. Everybody in the place knew what the Owls were gonna do in the 4th quarter. Line up and smash the football. Gordonsville had no answer up front either way.

Rich ran the ball for 170+ yards. I'd be suprised if Gville had 60 yards on the ground. I haven't heard the stats, but I'd say that is close. The Tigers did have some success passing, but it was way too little, too late. For awhile, I thought 11 points was gonna be plenty.

I'm not downing on G'ville, i remember last year how they were a 3 loss team and still gave FCS all they wanted. I just... i honestly expected it to be more of a fight..

It was a decent fight in the second half.

It seems like the last few years, Gville has only wanted to play one half in this game.

I thought when I finally got home yall would still be on here crowing. Speaking of crow. Ill take mine with mustard and hot sauce. I have to admit SC had the better team tonight. They knew exactally where it was going. Good coaching. I guess with the plays GV runs in games it aint hard to tell. GV definately dint know what to do with the linebackers stunting. HMMMM. For the postman, dont feel sorry for me and my son. He has a lot more battles left. You have to learn a loss is just that. Move on and learn from it. He was very disapointed because it is his senior year. But hey he has to understand. Its a team sport. You cant do it all. I dont think anyone can say he didnt do his job. Its my job to support him 100% no matter what he is doing. I think I did my job also.

I think this helps prove SC is the Mecca of 2A football.

It was packed and you guys cant say your fans didnt support you this time. They did. I just hope they dont fall off later. After all if its so important to beat GV. Then why isnt it just as important to support the team in the remainder of the season? After all this is for bragging rites.

Good luck the rest of the season. Hope you guys take it 15-0. I dont think the road will be rough until the playoffs. Roll on Owls!

Rich was much better than I had expected he'd be. Teams will have to try and stop him first.

He's good, but I really don't think it matters who you have in the backfield.

That line is good.

And with Tim Tebow, I mean Harville at QB. Ya'll can get 3-4 yards on a QB sneak.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
