Most people on here have us finishing 6th or less in the district.

 

Blackman lost to Wilson Central tonight.

 

Kenny Boynton scored 50 points on Riverdale. This guy can truly score at will.

 

 

Well when your winless up to this point, its hard to get respect. The only way to get respect is to earn it, not bicker and moan about it.

You think me talking about how Blackman is getting no respect on CoachT is moaning? Maybe 100 people read this thing. I was simply stating I find it humorous how some think we're going to finish dead last in the district. Talking about the humor in Blackman finishing last on Coach T is not moaning. Message boards is discussion, so how about some insight into how you think Blackman will do this year?

Riverdale at the time is 1-3 unfortunately, looking at the bigger picture though they are playing great competition in Shelbyville, Wilson Central, and American Heritage out of Florida. Schedule will remain tough this week, playing at Gallatin and hosting Brentwood Academy. Thats 4 top teams in Middle Tennessee and one of the top teams in the nation in American Heritage.

 

I saw the W.C. and A.H. games (as well as the season opening win over Columbia), the Warriors definately have some fight in them. They came out flat against W.C., going down 22-6 but fighting back only to lose by 3. Against Heritage, did a great job in keeping it close til late in the 3rd quarter but in the end you could see why they are nationally ranked and have Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski showing up at their practices to watch Kenny Boynton.

 

Boynton has by far the most pure shot I have seen in high school basketball. This guy was strokin Saturday night, making it look easy despite tough defense Riverdale was playing. This guy can also drive to the hole as he put on an airshow with 3 dunks.

I really doubt many people feel Blackman is going to finish dead last in the district, if so, they havent been around this district long enough. As for my opinion as to how Blackman does, I think it all hinges on if they can get consistent production from their other guys, because in some games the 15-20 carter averages wont be enough. I think Blackman will miss Bragg and Barnes more than most realize. With that said, its hard to say if they will finish in the top 4 in the district, but I think they have a good chance at doing so, they have the 2nd best coach in the district on the bench, so their chances will be better than most.

Good point that is an opinion ill admit it but an educated opinion!!!!Ill bet anyone on here with an ounce of basketball knowledge would not disagree.

Eh well maybe Siegel and White County will be in the top 3, but I dont feel secure in saying that Oakland will be in the top 3, at least not yet, although they are certainly off to a good start.

Well Oakland won by 23 last night at ( 5-1) Clarksville Northwest. Northwest beat us by 20 at our place last Sat. night. I think Oakland will defitently be in the top 3 in our district. I hate to say this, after bragging on Warren County's chances this year in earlier posts, but we here at Warren are in for yet another looooong season. Hope they prove me wrong.

They played as a complete team against Gallatin losing by two. But went back to making mistakes against Clarksville NW.

 

The Pioneers should bounce back tonight with a win over Coffee Co.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
