one thing you are going to have to learn, is Gordonsville will not let you beat them by running around them. They are are going to make you beat them by running over them, sure this may happen. But we have always done a pretty good job at containing the corners, which to even be close to beating SP, you have to keep contain on the corners. if not, then its lights out.

Just so you will know base plays in the 3 and 4 holes killed FCS and have been our bread and butter all season. SP's first play of the game after a nice FC punt had pinned us back close to our goal line was 34 base and it went 98 yards for a TD.

Speed doesn't just occur on the corners. All of our backs can hit the 3's and 4's, pass the LB's then either run over the safeties, or leave them picking up their "j-straps".

and just since when has "speed" pittsburg been a run between the tackles team? uhh....not in this lifetime. SP has beaten people by outrunning them and they do a darn good job of doing that.

As you suggested, I dropped by to see what's going on over here on ya'lls end!!! Pretty interesting and sounds like the same stuff I hear every week. Does anyone over ya'lls way ever throw the ball??? All anyone is talking about is their running game. I used to go thru G-ville almost every weekend once upon a time so I find this all interesting. Sure hope we get to settle all this at MTSU's stadium in a few weeks!!!

We can throw the ball when we need to. We made it look really easy last night. 227 yards passing with 4 touchdowns, all over 40 yards. We are no longer a one dimensional team.
