Trust me if the T$$AA thought they could make money off of it they would!

I think one year at CN the next at a place like Vandy. Then at UT then back west. I wish it were played on grass though. Injury comes from fake grass at a higher rate in my opinion.

According to Mike Van Brugen the Head Trainer @ CN, since installation of Field Turf @ CN they have had NO torn knees. All injuries have been on natural grass. The cleats do not stick like they do on grass. The older artifical turf I would agree w/ your statement.

How did Rod Wilks do?

i only saw the 2nd half, but he caught a couple line of scrimmage passes that went for short 1st downs. he caught a pass inside the 5 from about the 50, but got called for a push off. also saw a highlight where an intended pass to him was picked off. someone who saw the 1st half can elaborate better than me.

i did like the spear on the side of his helmet /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Region 4-5A was VERY WELL represented...if anyone had any doubt about the regions supremacy. So many from our region started..that should be an honor and shows our talent level as well as the great coaching in our region. 8 of the 10 Region 4 players in the all star game started...IMPRESSIVE (3 from Riverdale, 2 from Blackman, and 1 from Siegel, Smryna, and LaVergne)...although im sure Sonny woulda started if he had wanted to play.

East Starters

Offense

Left Tackle: Adam Smith (Blackman)

Left Guard: David Spurlock (Riverdale)

Center: Travis Lillianthal (Riverdale)

Wide Receiver: Rod Wilks (Smyrna)

Wide Receiver: Chris Gray (LaVergne)

Defense

Defensive Tackle: LaVarious Verge (Riverdale)

Defensive Tackle: Montori Hughes (Siegel)

Cornerback: Mauricio Wallace (Blackman)

I want to congratulate these players again...they showed they were the best of the best at their respective positions. They are all great talents, but again this couldnt happen without the great coaches we have in our region. Glad to see Coach Shad representing the region on the coaching staff also.

Great Game and good luck to all of these fine young men.

i was also thinking the same thing about the spear.. but then thinking about it, if he were at riverdale his stats would have stunk cause riverdale never passes the ball, EVER.. and that play was not pass interference (atleast in my opinion).. the east did dominate though with both Spurlock and Rod both having pancake blocks
