I looked on here half expecting to see 3 or 4 pages of trash talk, and I find NOTHING...no traditional Siegel trash talking, no 82cat pumping up the team.

 

What is going on with this game? Any thoughts?

There is a place on the bottom of the page where it will allow you to turn to page 2 and you will see there is already a thread there about this game.

 

As to the game itself I figure the Smyrna fans will be trying to see a real game by halftime. If NOT then Smyrna is in trouble this season. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

 

'IF' Siegel makes a game of it then they are GREATLY improved this season! I would not bet on it though.

Sorry that I didn't see the other thread. This is just extremely abnormal for there to be 4 or 5 comments 48 hours before gametime. Usually there are 4-5 pages before the 1st game.

Yes there was and MOST of it made good locker room wall material. I KNOW R'dale used it a BUNCH! Records prove it DID motivate the opposition.

They could have just been bad, so the only enjoyment they got from football was the trash talking. They knew they couldn't back up, but they did it because, to them, that was the only fun part about it. when you are losing, you get bored quickly so you resort to just trash talking and not even caring about the game itself.

While I understand that point of view, it got taken out on the actual players who said nothing. Our entire region is somewhat quiet compared to years past maybe it will pick up after the first week.

If I was a coach of HS football team, /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I would not want my team even reading these boards let alone commenting on them. Thats silly. I know in this age is would be nearly impossible to control but there would be strong repercussions if i found they were commenting on here. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
