Good Morning Big Red Nation! Gameday, its finally here! This one pits the Big Red Patriots versus the Green and Gold Burros. Two highly talented teams, but only one can come away victorious. For most Patriot fans who remember, its payback time for the 2006 massacre. The boys that were on the team remember well. This game will be about how well our Big Red D is able to stop the athleticism of Hillsboro. It can be done, and you guys KNOW IT!!! Hit hard and hit fast, make them never forget this night. As for the Big Red Machine, it has been oiled all week long and won't have another breakdown as it did last week. Take care of business and the rest will fall into place, just get it done. We were at the Oct 10th game when you took apart Brighton. And big dude and I will most definitely be sitting with the BIG RED tonight.

Hillsboro has more speed and the edge in the kicking game from what I hear and read. I think the offenses will cancel one another out. The team that plays the best defense will win as well as the fewest turnovers. Nobody is the favorite or the underdog. Defense and turnovers will win AND lose this game.

For those of you who put stock in computor ratings, we are the underdog in both the Massey and Sonny Moore systems. Massey has us losing by 2 ; Moore has us down by 1.5. I wouldn't let that worry you too much though. Last week both had Boyd Buchanan and Sullivan South projected as 12 to 15 point winners; both lost!

Rain would effect both teams, so that wouldnt be a valid excuse to me. But I agree, I want there to be no doubt when the game is over. AND dear God if it goes into overtime, I will stroke out after last year.
