The time is almost here. The Thesis is turned in for the semester, my classes are through. Friend on his way from Johnson City to ride and watch Alcoa do there thing and headed to BOH in about 30 minutes. I cannot wait for tonight and tomorrow. Alcoa, Maryville and Catholic represent the East! Oh and rumor is there is an SEC championship game to be seen as well. stinks it conflicts with the Maryville game.

Wish they would hurry up and let school out. Im ready to go get my bus ready to make the trip. Im hauling the cheerleader group and I just dont know what Im gonna do about all the celebration noise on the way home when we bring the GOLD BALL back to West Tennessee! To all fans...Milan and Alcoa, have a safe trip, stay warm, and pray for a injury free game!! All the talk is over. The guys will all do their best tonight and win or lose..they all have an accomplishment to be proud of!! GOOD LUCK TO BOTH SCHOOLS!!.................................LET THE BIG DAWG EAT!!!

Getting ready to load up and head for Murfreesboro. Praying for safe travel for everybody heading to game from both directions. Looking for a great game as the Tornadoes 'Strive for Five'! I hope everybody can part friends with this is all over. This is a battle of two great schools with as much tradition as anybody in the great state of Tennessee. The way I see it there are no losers, just one team leaving with Gold and the other with Silver. Best of luck to both Milan and Alcoa. Go Tornadoes!

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
