bkbfan30
Thanks for the info raiderray. Does anyone know the latest on Sydney Goins. I think she the heart of that team due to the energy she brings. She is almost an impossible match up in that she can post you, take you to the rim, and shoot the spot 3. She has the ability due to her athleticism to play all 5 positions on the floor. West will still be good enough to win the IMAC games will just be by 15-20 instead of 30. I don't see them having a chance at a state title after seeing Riverdale and Mt Juliet play-Sydneys athletic ability would give MW a chance to neutralize those teams athletes. Plus she may be the classiest best sport in the league-she always helps teammates and opponents up when they are on the court-always smiling -just plays the game the right way-I hope her sr yr is taken b/c of an injury. On another note I hear Whitney Kyle will be returning soon which if used correctly really helps JCHS key word IF
bigdaddy69
For all those who are wondering about Sidney Goins, it seems her knee injury is not as bad as first feared. She has a partial tear to the ACL, and she will play again this season. No one knows for sure the exact time she will be back, but I've heard that Coach Galyon has said it is not a season ending injury. I've heard anywhere from 2-3 weeks to 4-6 weeks, so she could return at any time, but most likely we will see Sidney on the floor by the District 2-AAA tournament. raiderray
Good article in Friday's edition of the Knoxville Sentinel in the Prep Extra edition on Mo West. I bet the last time two IMAC teams were ranked 1 and 2 in the Knoxville area by any publication was in 2004/2005 when Greeneville and Jefferson County were ruling the IMAC. IMAC is deservedly getting some respect. Word is that Whitney Kyle is still doing rehab, unknown when she will be active.
