Pickett Co. 1-5, hosts Trousdale Co. 5-1, Fri. nite. No doubt TCs' subs will see plenty of

action. A long road trip for the Jackets that the new alignment was supposed to eliminate.

So much for plan A. Apparently, the T$$AA doesn't own a road atlas.

Regardless, hopefully, the Jacket fans will make the trip & support the team as usual.

How much seating capacity on the visitors side?

See ya at the game.

Very little. If you want to see the game you'll have to stand on the sides. If you sit on the bleachers, you can't see because of the players are standinging in the way. The field is actually a baseball field. Hope its dried out since we were up there.

LOL, well, don't think it hasn't crossed my mind. Would love to see this matchup. Need to go

to Pickett & support my Jackets, but this seating thing doesn't sound so great! Hmmmmm.

Lord have Mercy!! Trousdale won't!!(because Pickett Co can't stop them) The 3rd and 4th string will continue to score at will!!

Best of luck to our friends at TC....hope to see ya Championship weekend!!

Hope you're right, Tom. That would be nice! As Bret Maverick used to say, "we're working

on it". LOL

Jackets should come out early, get safely ahead and then play your underclassmen. Experience gives knowledge. Save the starters for the games ahead. Maybe South Pitt? Hmmm.....just wondering about post-season play??? :roflol: Good ole Russell's popcorn

So. Pitt is 1A...TC is 2A...won't be playing each other for a while.

    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
