MLREB
I like the F5's chances against a team like.... maybe...Cannon Co?Nice try poser ....now back to the woods with ya! BTW...you said....Oakland. recruiting was a source of talent at riverdale when the previous coach was there, sure that doesn't go on at Alcoa......especially when such a large company is in the area. ...No...they don't have to recruit but it's WIDE OPEN for any kid from anywhere to join the squad. That is proven by their 37% and growing OOZ/tuition players but....no....Alcoa is not recruiting.

thedawg44
best non-private school- yes.better than the privates- most of them but not all of them seeing as how they recruit and all. Does Alcoa still accept tuition students? all i know is that privates recruit and alcoa has an open school zone.

Bulldog Fan #2
best non-private school- yes.better than the privates- most of them but not all of them seeing as how they recruit and all. Does Alcoa still accept tuition students? Yes - they have an "Open Zone" meaning anyone can be admitted to the system along with a tuition payment with the acceptance by administration. We all know how that turns out!! While they have a great program regardless, they would not have some of the talent currently on the roster if they were closed zone unless the families moved their primary residence inside the school boundaries. shootermcgavin
Thanks for the info. I have wondered about open enrollment at this school for several years.

LEONARDSLOSERS
Week 1- 4 yes, but several teams have passed them now. They are still the best team class 1- class 5 for sure.

Speeding2Live
I know a great way to determine the best in the state. You take all the state champions and play a single elimination tournament and have a overall Tennessee State Champion.
