After seeing both teams play this year, I'm going to give a slight advantage to Centennial for the strong game that they had against Franklin.

I've seen them both play and agree with you. If Centennial plays to win and doesnt play to keep from losing, they can win this one. If they dont quit the weak secondary tackles, it will be an ugly night.

They outmatch Indy, even though they may not believe it. Play strong, play to win, play to make a play every down.

Indy should win this one. For all the Indy fans saying how great Dyson is this is his chance to prove that he can lead his team to a win against the schools Indy should be able to beat. If Centennial wins, which I think they will, then it is quite possible that Indy finishes last in the district this season.

This is definitely a make/break game for Independence/Centennial. If Independence wins this one, they could possibly, maybe even should, win out the season coming in 2nd in the district.... Not so sure about Centennials schedule, but this is a for sure make/break for INDY...the rest of the season depends on this game....much better to be 1-1 in the district than 0-2 before Indy's bye week next week.

IHS KEEPER is right this is prob the biggest game of the year for indy. Because if they loose this one then there playoff hopes are basically done. After 3 wks of not playin there best football there gunna be ready to play this friday night. However indys starting qb might have a concussion so that could play a factor if he dosnt play this wk.

Indy will prevail with a Win goin against there former coach eubanks

Any reports on the Independence quarterback? If he doesn't play, I'm not so sure about their chances. Either way, Coach Shade will have his guys ready for the Eagles.

I don't think it really matters if he plays or not. It's not like the Indy offense is scoring many points with him. This game will come down to physicality and turnovers.

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
