CAK @ Alcoa

Well, I thought this game deserved a fresh thread.

The regular season match up was an entertaining game with the 6 time defending Tornadoes coming away with the victory. The Warriors, however, didn't go away quietly scoring 33 points, the most of any team not named Maryville in the last couple of years. How will round 2 of this battle between district foes turn out?

I don't live in East Tennessee, but do we really need to ask this question?

Personally I believe Alcoa plays better than it did last game. Alcoa didn't play well in that first game. Give CAK credit for causing some of that but there were some mental era's on the Tornadoes last game against them. It will be interesting to see how the Tornadoes defend Epperly this time around. How will CAK try to stop the run? Another chess match in the making.

How's #16 for CAK? Epperly was airing it out to him all over Alcoas secondary (oops I forgot I cant say anything negative about Alcoa). If 16 is out of the game (sorry I dont know his name off the top of my head) it could slightly hurt CAKs air attack. For CAK to win they're going to have to stop Alcoa somewhere. The 2nd half Warren just nastisized the CAK D. I expect to see another barn burner. Probably around 49-35 type score. (Alcoa of course)

IMO since Alcoa is good at every aspect and they run like no one else if it were me I would do my best to make them beat me thru the air which I know they pass well but there's always a chance for drops etc I say load up the d front line which we have the size to do it and when they make the hit hold on and hope for help. On offense I don't know the status of the kids but cak has got to score every time they get the ball. Should be a good game ill say 42 35 one way or the other lol lol

With the injuries to the Warrior receiving corps, Alcoa wins by at least 3 td's this time.

As someone said earlier, 33 is the most Alcoa's given up since 2007. That year they gave up 42 to Maryville and 36 to GP. Prior to that, Huntingdon scored 41 in the 2004 title game.
