pepvol
That's why I never understand people who talk smack before a game .... I'm sure AE had enough motivation without hearing smack and about Oggs doing scouting reports .
mcwrestler
So, instead of turtle, crow is definitely served. Congrats to AE and coach Gilard for the win. Can I have my crow served cold and reheated lol. Good job AE.
mcwrestler
I remember that game and actually I was at that game hahah.. But the tables are turned now, you all have the #1 or #2 team so we'll see if AE can mustard out a 24-0 win over you all.. I just hope AE take care of business because no one is giving them respect nor a chance... You were off by 7 points turtle, but closer than we imagined. Enjoy the win, it was earned over a good team. osunut2
Wow, tough night for the top 2 teams in 3A. CAK was upset by Grace, 32-31.

GoddardField
Another excellently laid out offensive plan by Coach Rankin.
swanson71
Congrats AE for the upset. Sounds like a hard fought game. Eye opener for all players and fans I do believe. I believe there will be plenty to be learned from this. Oggs out, Vee out, still AE has earned it by just beating them where it counts. No excuses about big plays, AE just did it tonight. They may score again. Wow this is an eye opener for sure. I still think Alcoa is the favorite to win 3a, but it'll be a tougher road than they've had in a long while. GoddardField
Oh and did we set a state record tonight for most field goals missed in a drive? Seriously, the kid is like 2-9 on FGs and 3-11 on XPs....DONT KICK THE BALL!
snoball5278
Another excellently laid out offensive plan by Coach Rankin. and it begins...
GoddardField
and it begins... Check the Maryville thread...I said the same thing there. Tyson, Warren, Lindsey arnt here any more. We cant play smash mouth football with teams and we cant use speed when teams are just as fast as us.
Gridiron32
WOW, I bet it was a great game. I saw Alcoa play Maryville a couple weeks ago and they looked strong. I kept hearing good things about the AE defense, looks like they stepped it up. And AE made a field goal??? It was their night! Looks like a great playoff matchup.
