The Goat sez; Ouch!!! Only one of the many reasons to hate eagles. On the lighter side, it's nice to catch up with old friends and family. The only thing to make this experience more pleasant would be to enjoy it with a box of Fudge Rounds and a 4 pack of Red Bulls. ;) Do ewe like Fudge Rounds and Red Bulls, Pearl? B)

Yes I do but not those that Roy unwraps, before handing it to ya.Hadn't seen you on much...welcome back. Maybe you can help us with NoComp..He is starting to come around.

Lil A Rod was the only one that caught the ball. With that being said he made one of the best catches I have ever seen in high school. Little Man should give Stone another option Friday night. Question TT. When was the last time you can remember that you seen our coaches make adjustments while we were down & we came back to win? It doesnt happen much for some reason.

We have a GREAT coaching staff for a small school...Not many can compete however with that being said I plead the Tree For FIFFF...5th yes I plead the 5th....Haven't beaten a team better than us since 2003 MC which conditioning played huge factor in that one....That credit the coaches though...I will b the first to say it's a joke we didn't win it all in 98, 2008 and 2009....2004 we were just as talented as BB but lost..2006 we had more overall talent than anyone but that team just didn't have any heart and was young but still coaches have to take blame for some of it...TrainTracks thinks this game is just as BIG a game for VICTORY as well as the team

Lol nah Ole NoComp is a Parrot indeed...This I can promise...He just plays the negative card one too many times...He is torn with our bet haha...That Westmoreland thread still has him shook after bringing it back to the front...Lol I will say that I'm glad SM has no Westmoreland...Then he might get those 5 TD's....With that being said they do not...As I stated earlier in year this years MC needs MUCH more than just a Eric Westmoreland....Not even whoodini could fix all their issues inside and out

I agree on all the years completely.

Only the indigenous natives...We can't play against the ELITE in 5A and 6A not for 4 quarters anyways but 4A down we can..Not neccessarily win but we could play with them the years we are great...(Excluding Alcoa the last several years) 2008 and this years Alcoa teams are no peach though...A above average MC team in 08 proved that

I will respectfully disagree a bit. The year MC played Alcoa we could have played with them as well that year. Some years in the past I will say we couldnt have played with them. They did just have a player show out in his NFL debut something we have never had. This SP team will prove a lot this weekend to all of us. If Signal blows us out I will say this year SP cannot play with the 3A,4A,5A,6A elite BUT I will say that they could contend for the 2A State Championship. I just think its a big gap from 2A to 3A even though Alcoa is struggling right now. They played Maryville close when they were healthy. Their 2 losses are to a top 10 3A & the best 6A team. We will see how they play against the top ranked 4A team Friday night.

Big gap indeed but that same gap is just as big with Alcoa and the rest of 3A is years past...4A hasn't been that great outside the top 3-4 schools in a while....Cobb did show out for sure....We had a a two time all sec player though a team Cpt that got drafted in the 2nd round and top overall top 50 pick...He(Moore) would've done some good things in the league if not for breaking ankles/knees/shoulders during his time...He was running first team with Dolphins and Broncos before getting injured two different seasons...Offense sells tickets though so Cobb naturally gets alot of attention....He was a great player for sure...Wish TN had got him but with that being said for every Cobb they have had they also had 12 or more players like Dustin Lindsey/Brandon Warren/Lancaster/Sykes/Summers along with many many others that never panned out...We could compete against many teams from 4A down..Maybe not top 3-4 in 4A but on down I would have to respectifully agree to disagree :)

Lock up this political crap...They both stink and leave it at that...Politics are touchy matter so before a huge firestorm breaks out dose it and kill the flames....Nobody wants to talk about how crappy our economy is...This is one of the few places many people can get away from all that and just have good football talk...It is what it is....

In other news a little bee called me earlier and informed me on some inside scoop on Friday that made me smile...Ole Price is something else...I hope he keeps running off at the mouth instead of getting ready for some of these haymakers we are about to drop on that onion

This attention for a sophomore helps the young man.

    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
