On a serious note, not having a field goal kicker hurt our team in my last game.

We got to the ten yard line against DCA in the playoffs but didn't have a field goal kicker. Time ran out and we lost 22-20.

They had a field goal kicker the next year.

 

What kind of mess is this? What is a Massey prediction? I have never heard of such mess. I garuntee you this Massey mess doesnt know what it is talking about if it has Grider kicking a field goal. Grider does not kick field goals, he goes for 2 points everytime. You think im joking but im not.

For you Gordonsville fans, #31 for us in that video with the paint peeling from his helmet is the guy that on Friday will be in an orange sweatshirt yelling "Hit somebody." I tell you this because you will be able to hear him even on the other side of the field.

Good post croz. #31 on that team will be the one on our siddline you hear saying one time, one time. That is the famous game where TSSAA sent the letter to the pirates saying I'm sorry you all actually won the state title our refs blew the call. That would have been one more in the ol trophy case

Old Pirate wonders if that 1963 Civitan Bowl is on the You Tube? Now that wa a bunch of fellers (grandads by now)that were undersized that played with tremendous heart! OP feels this years SP team is similar but Friday will tell us for ALL TIME how much heart this team has.

Yep, OP was in Nashvegas for that Springhill feud and the Boyd loss last week reminds OP of how them youngons from SP with robbed of their state championship. Dad burnit, least it did help create the genuine article in "Captain Crazy" aka David Wyatt # 31. That youngon has been pisssed ever since. Figure he's still looking for that ref that made that terrible call.

 

Mr.Unknown Ref, if you should stumble across this here post,jest listen when at a SP game and follow the yell "Gas Them", "One Time" or "Hit Someone" and you can apoligize to Captain Crazy. Ifin you have big nuff fuzzies

SP will need a entire FOCUSED TEAM this week through practice! They have their work cut out for them but they can get the W....Hard work guys! It's go time! Seperate the boys and men...This is what you practice for in the spring and those hot summer days...Get ready!!

A game like this one could be one for the ages. The young lads on each respective club always seem to meet in the playoffs. I saw the young lads from South Pitt play earlier this season at Boyd Buchanan, but my current travel schedule has made it tough to be there more often. Make no mistake The Living Legend will be in attendance at Gordonsville this week. My entourage and I will be arriving in Gordonsville around 5:00. I will need one of you Gordonsville people to make sure to coordinate my arrival and departure at the stadium. The Smith County sheriff's department can hopefully take care of this and make sure we get our police escort from the county line to Turney Ford Field. It's not always a legend like myself graces you with my presence. I am sure that Sportman and others could use a legend like myself at a game. It's not everyday you get to breathe some of the same air as a legend like myself. I feel like these clubs will get after each other and several young lads could achieve legend status in this one. Both clubs have living legend coaches walking the sidelines so it should be a festive environment for everyone. I have kept a close eye on several young lads from South Pittsburg this season. Through my research and analysis, Gordonsville also has several young lads that could be achieving legend status. As always I will be signing autographs before the game. I encourage everyone to come and mingle with a legend such as myself. You people at South Pittsburg and Gordonsville should be very thankful this holiday season that a legend like myself has chosen to grace you people with my presence, rather than the fine folks in Maryville. I will be evaluating alot of the young lads on each respective club in this game. Many of them will become living legends from the game they play this Friday night. Hopefully The Living Legend Butchie and The Living Legend Reaction will also be at this game. They too will be available for autograph signings and pictures at your request. Goodluck to the young lads in this game and always remember. Achieving legend status is a choice.
