Not hungover BP.....Just no more tip toeing...Time for a moment of clarity...As for the statement about coaches. Yes they are great aren't they? Man those SP teams just weren't as talented as those Gordonsville boys in past years were they?!?!? Bahahaha please!!!! SP should have a half dozen more State titles the past 20 years....Big games we are below 50% success......TRAINTRACKING is coming... Prepare yourself...Let me know when u get tired of hearing it just do I can keep saying it

LMAO. Really, you think? I believe pirate fans no that. Gordonsville will probably be the best defense SP has seen. It will be a tough game.

If we wearn't playing friday night I definitely would come watch your game it has to be a great football game,, don't have any idea who will win but I know it will be one heck of a game.

Grider has out coached this Marshall man every time they have met. I think the scores from those games prove my point. I have also witnessed some good defensive half time adjustments this year. It didn't matter in some of our games because we were putting young players against older more experienced boys but I saw second half defensive schemes that almost turned a couple of those losses around. I wouldn't trade our coaching staff for any other in the state. They are winners. You don't go as deep into the playoffs as we AlWAYS do without out coaching the other teams consistently.

 

I garuntee you Grider has outcoached this Marshall man, but Grider had a hard time out coaching that Dillard man that used to be at Gordonsville. I dont know why those Gordonsville people got rid of that Dillard man. I was wondering if this Dillard man was kin to me. You think im joking but im not.

somehow it's different when you say it over and over, unlike the Mayor. Seriously do you really think we need a new coaching staff? I know Roy makes fun of them but he actually loves em. I'm just shocked that you sound serious about it!!!

are you riding on Grider's bus or do you need a ride up? I picking sportman and powerp up about 5 o'clock. We have to fly tree top high below radar, cause I lost my license after that crash up on old jasper road. No one is giving us a chance against Marshall (actually Medley runs the team ) so we are big underdogs in this one!!! Edited by pegleg

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated

      Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
