Old Pirate been a doing a right smart amount of thinking about this here feud Friday night. OP done and been feared to saw much cause so many touchy fellers on this here coacht now-a-days. Now the best OP can see this feud is the Pirates is tangling with a team that will be the best collective group of players this year. Now ain't saying GV can't be beat cause theys done been beat and SP has proved theys can play bone head ball too. Figure GV will bring the best running tandem the Pirates have faced and the GV defense has them big ole tater eating younguns that will cause the young Pirate line problems. The Pirates will counter with an aray of quick slippery RBs,tough hard nosed FBs and QB that has proven his toughness. Old Pirate says the Pirates ain't suppose to win this feud by some fellers opinions but......somehow OP feels the Pirates will be a hard pill to swallow for the Tigers.

On the offensive side of the ball Gordonsville owns the middle, while South Pitt owns the edge. On D; Gordonsville is just better than South Pitt (even if they play the perfect game the Pirate fans have been hoping for).

I guess we're about to see if the old adage is true; does defense really win championships?

Old Pirate says this feud jest might rival the SP vs TC game back....in 1998. Figure ole Train Tracks knows the magnitude of that game. Dad burnit, OP sure had a memorable time anyhow in Nashvegas.
