The girl's basketball coaching gig should be pretty much in demand. Is it true that Rock Springs Middle's girls are unbeaten this season and much of that zone will now go to Stew Creek?

They may take some lumps for the first couple of years in football but should be pretty good after that. I can see how they might (with the right coaching hire) be a powerhouse in girl's hoops without having to wait too many years.

That is the name I keep hearing. If so it's a really really good hire. 9 Semifinals or better in his last 18 years. And he beat a lot of 6A teams during that time as well with a 3A school.

I hope it is. He will see that Stewarts Creek has no "works study" program. When he was beating "a lot of 6A teams with a 3A school", it was not on the same playing field.

Really. I went back the last ten years, his teams beat McGavock, Coffee County, and Ravenwood (not under Rector). Beating these three teams is about as hard as finding a needle in a needle stack. The man has played 3A football with 5A/6A talent. I would love for him to get this job and see if he can really coach, especially in Rutherford County. To me, I go with a guy that is a proven winner at the 5A/6A level. I'd even try and lure Creasy away from Trousdale over Martin.
