I agree with those 2 too, even though Red Bank is having an off year. Another would be Boyd an South Pittsburg. No matter who has the edge from one year to the next both teams are ready to play. Of coarse Boaylor and McCallie.

(The following are in no particular order)

PRIVATE:

McCallie/Baylor -- played since 1908 except for 31-year hiatus due to violence (this year: 22-15 McCallie)

MUS/Christian Brothers -- top 2 private schools in Memphis (played this week)

MBA/Father Ryan -- timeless rivalry, not as fun this year (this year: 41-7 MBA)

MBA/Brentwood Academy -- quickly becoming a fierce crosstown rivalry (this year: 31-6 BA)

CPA/FRA -- fun 1A private-school rivalry (this year: 41-14 CPA)

PUBLICS:

Germantown/Houston -- crosstown rivals, 2 of Memphis' top teams (played this week)

Riverdale/Oakland -- vengeful Murfreesboro rivalry, especially for Oakland (this year: 17-7 Riverdale)

Maryville/Alcoa -- timeless, fierce, usually Blount Co's two best teams (this year: 56-14 Maryville)

Portland/White House -- traditional Sumner rivalry, fun interclass matchup (this year: 35-14 White House)

Milan/Humboldt -- two small, close towns, two good teams (played this week)

Brentwood/Franklin -- neighboring suburbs, good schools, great teams, everyone knows everyone (this year: 16-8 Brentwood)

Oak Ridge/Clinton -- Anderson County rivalry often with atomic proportions, but pretty one-sided (this year: 27-20 Oak Ridge)

Hendersonville/Beech -- fabulous crosstown rivalry, usually very close and heated (this year: 17-13 Beech)

Franklin/Centennial -- the Battle of Franklin, everyone knows each other and respectful hostility is prominent (this year: 28-7 Franklin)

Brentwood/Brentwood Academy -- the Battle of Brentwood, very close and again, everyone knows everyone else, also called the Cell Phone Bowl (this year: 17-7 BA)

These are the best rivalries I can recall.

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
