7AAA predictions and expectations

I agree; it helps teams in the spring having a tough scrimmage ( like Oakland / Beech ). It gives you a good idea of your weaknesses going into the summer. I know Siegel was a very good test for Mt Juliet. 9AAA will be very tough this year. Could possibly be toughest district from top to bottom. Is Oakland be mostly senior loaded or a good mix of seniors and juniors?

Out of those getting Division 1 interest, Only Austin Barrett(Furman, Youngstown St. and UAB), Caleb Yates(MTSU and WKU), and Emmanuel Smith (Vandy Commit) are seniors. Kyle Oliver, Jack Jones (UT Commit), Tyler Black, Josh Smith and Kevin Prather are all Juniors. Oakland also has a upcoming freshmen at QB that looks pretty promising and should keep the success going when he takes over the reins in 2014

Best kicker in the District/Region will again be Reed at Siegel. Young man is getting looks from a bunch of schools that do not usually recruit in middle Tennessee.

I am sure all of them do not have a consistant 40+ yard punter.

Hard to believe not much talk about the district this year. 7 on 7 tournament at Ravenwood, in which 3 teams from 7-AAA ( Oakland, Siegel, and Blackman) will be participating. Anybody plan on going?
