croz6110
From Whitwell? If he is from Whitwell then I hope he coached softball. Well, maybe he was the best coach on Whitwell's staff, and everyone else was responsible for their lack of success.

TigerTown8412
Gordonsville has a new assistant coach, not a coordinator, from Whitwell. I think he's originally from Watertown. At least that's the story I got. It's Justin Hailey or Halley. Not sure which. He was the Defensive Coordinator at Whitwell. He graduated from Watertown I believe in the 90's. Someone told me he once coached at South Pittsburg but someone else will have to confirm that

I don't think he ever coached at SP.
UpperCumberlandMan
I think the first game verse Upperman will set the season for both teams. UHS has 21 setiors and nearly every starter back. Who ever comes out with the victory will strong. I cant wait to see the Carson kid play. http://www.myissinc.com:8080/WNWSmfs/servlet/articlemfsviewer?1,1,Home,

UpperCumberlandMan
The York kid missed 3 games due to injury. Easly could have been 6-4. Compare two teams each with a super star. One 4-6 in 3a with 20 seniors and 9 starters back on each side. 9-1 1a team who lost 20 seniors. I don't know if UHS will win, but will be much closer than expected. The lineman on the other hand. They need a fire lit under them. But don't hype up Cason. Some close to the program have questioned his work ethic this offseason and summer. However, I have looked at Upperman and they have some great looking lineman but they try to run a spread no huddle which doesn't suit them. I still think Gordonsville is gonna pull it out. But as Lee Corso says "closer than the experts think"

TigerTown8412
Gordonsville is hosting a passing camp this Tuesday night up at Turney Ford Field. I'm not for sure on the time. I imagine some time between 5 and 7 P.M. Friendship Christian, Macon Co. and Cannon Co. will be there. I heard the boys are chomping at the bit to play Friendship. Even if it is a 7 on 7.
