Yes, we were good throughout much of the 80's through the mid 90's, but we suffered a huge downturn in the late 90's and early 2000's.

 

That's why I expect OR to be successful in the coming years. No question Gaddis is a GREAT coach and motivator, the only real question to me is how long does he continue coaching.

He will die coaching here, i firmly believe that, MSU. We were told at a recent QB Club meeting that Gaddis wants his ashes spread on blankenship Field when he dies, so take that for what it's worth lol. He will coach here until he gets in bad health, and i hope that is still awhile. Henry County is my 3rd favorite team behind us of course and Morristown West, for that is where my mother and all of my aunts and uncles attended haha. This Oak ridge boy is pullin' for the Patriots, until you meet us of course. If that ever happens. I hope it does, so we could meet up and say hello!

Thanks for that. Gotta say, after seriously helping this program out in one of its most trying times, it's hard not to pull for him here in HC. But the sentiments are mutual in the "until you meet us" department lol.

Not early enough. I'm ready to go now. Any word on the starting QB? Any word on Henderson's status? Any word on our guys who were hurt and held out of the last scrimmage?

According to Gaddis last week, he could have used Grabenstein and Hall against HVA, they just didn't want to push it. Not sure what Henderson's status is as far as contact work.

Young worked first with the first team offense. Not sure if that means anything. They are still practicing all 5 in QB individuals.

It usually opens at 6:00, just about everywhere.

I think it does help that Farragut already has a game under their belt , especially being an away game at DB ... if Farragut does win I think that will be the main reason they do .

Any predictions on the final score. I have been real busy with personal matters. How has Oak Ridge looked in Scrimmages. I know they lost a lot of talent from last year. Someone give me the news on the Wildcats.

I'm excited about the team, the coach, the crowd but I don't see is winning this game. We have looked good on defense but weak on offense. We have nobody who can go the distance on anyone good.
