I remember oak ridge kicking our butts a couple times too. I was wondering about your previous post. Oak ridge had a really good 2014 and from I hear the wildcats are gonna be pretty good in 2015 too

Amen to that. I enjoyed the Maryville series. They can have that McMinn series back. I don't want it.

I think OR JV could take them in basketball. WB is flat turrible in basketball. Even worse than the football team, which is crazy.

Low blows. I was just asking a legitimate question. Why would you rather play a team that you will never beat than a quality team that you have a good chance to beat and will also give you good competition most of the time? That just seems crazy imo.... It's even crazier to go out of your way to do that when you don't have to. Now, it made sense when y'all were in 6A but it doesn't now that y'all are in 5A.

I guess it's just something that a WB fan could never understand? And who says we will never beat Maryville if we played them a prolonged period of time? Except for Alcoa, Whitehaven, and a few select others we gave them some of their more competitive games in the 4 years we played them.
