crazzyness
Gotta go with Voiles at Oakdale. He's done a nice job, but I look at it this way. 6 years ago, Oakdale was one of the worst teams in TN. 6 years ago, RBS was one of the worst teams in the entire country. But everyone has an opinion. bobcats56
RBS, anyone who saw them play in years prior to his arrival would agree, amazing job. Not to mention the current starting FR QB at Macon Co grew up at RBS and moved for HS. Kid is very good and would have made RBS that much better. TheMan0405
If Oakdale makes the playoffs he gets my vote just because its been almost 20 yrs since they have made it.UC was expected to win it all, no surprise there.UC coach has done an excellent job. It's hard to keep kids from getting big headed when people give you the gold ball before the start of the season.

hogheaven
Bowlin and his staff shouldn't be punished for being good two years in a row. Amazing job they have done.
NCSdad1962
If you all could watch our game tonight, you'd have no doubt who the 1A coach of the year is.
rlh
Either the coach at Oakdale or RBS. Don't overlook Huntland's coach.

swanson71
RBS, anyone who saw them play in years prior to his arrival would agree, amazing job. Not to mention the current starting FR QB at Macon Co grew up at RBS and moved for HS. Kid is very good and would have made RBS that much better. He is very good but we've got a freshman qb who is a fine player in his own right and by the time he's a junior and senior is going to be very good, he's just not the runner that Seth Carlisle in Macon is. Look, Kyle Shoulders at RBS should be the coach of the year. Let me break down a little history. RBS owns the 2 longest losing streaks in the states and the last one ended in 2009 when he took over. RBS hasn't had a winning season since 1978, they did go 5-5 in 79, but other than those 2 years RBS has had a losing season every year. RBS has NEVER made in the playoffs and right now RBS sits at 6-3 with roughly half the team being sophomores with playoffs in sight. I know the coach from Oakdale had done a fine job but as someone said RBS was one of the worst teams in the country a few years ago and the program was a complete mess. We are responsible for the rule that was put that the clock runs in the second half when the lead becomes 35+ because of a beating Trousdale County put on us in 2005.
